Raymond P. Ojserkis
Profile
Raymond P. Ojserkis is a historian and lecturer at Rutgers University, where he teaches courses on boom and bust cycles, American economic history, 20th-century Europe, World War I and II, the Cold War, and the history of Western civilization. His teaching and research focus on how political and economic forces shape global historical developments.
He is a Senior Advisor to the Expert Insights Group (EIG).
Academic Career
In addition to his work at Rutgers, Dr. Ojserkis has held teaching positions at CUNY Lehman College, Long Island University, and Marymount Manhattan College. Across these institutions, he has lectured on U.S. foreign policy, international relations, and global affairs.
Publications
He is the author of Beginnings of the Cold War Arms Race: The Truman Administration and the Arms Build-Up, which examines the Truman administration’s decision to pursue large-scale rearmament, initiating the Cold War arms race and reshaping post-war international relations.
